About pocketpass.nz
This all started with a Google search for a cost-effective way of issuing digital cards to our club members. The options we found charged per card, per month. With over 100 members and a membership fee of only $12 a year, that would have swallowed most of the fee, so we couldn’t justify it. So I built our own.
pocketpass.nz is a New Zealand–built digital pass platform for clubs, schools, events and organisations that want Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes without building their own infrastructure.
It focuses on three things: a clean dashboard, a powerful template builder, and a reliable CSV pipeline that works with real-world data. Members get one link that adds their card to their phone, and renewals update the card they already have.
Pricing is built for the clubs that started it: anyone can make one pass for free, and not-for-profits pay a suggested $1 per card per year, not per month. See Pricing.
Built by Bill, a club member who got tired of paying per card. Connect with me on LinkedIn.
